Part of the world-wide Anglican Communion,
St. Alban's is a congregation of The Episcopal Church, USA,
situated in the Diocese of Pennsylvania
(consisting of 162 congregations in Philadelphia and the four
surrounding counties). Located 15 miles west of center city
Philadelphia, in Newtown Square, Delaware
County, we are delighted that you've found us and we encourage
you to explore our web site, and to visit us whenever you're
in our area.
St. Alban's has been part of the
Newtown Square community since 1922. With approximately 200
families, a dedicated staff, a Church School enrollment of over
70, a strong youth group program, vibrant worship, beautiful
facilities, a weekday Mother's Day Out, a "boutique" Thrift
Shop, and an active outreach ministry, we invite newcomers to
the community, and residents looking for a Church home, to consider
us as your family's spiritual base.
Here on our Web site you can view,
interact with, and to some extent share in our ministry for
Christ. To give just a few examples, here you will find such
things as the Sunday Service Bulletin, the Weekly Worship Schedule,
Sermons, Parish News, Descriptions and Schedules of
Upcoming Events, along with summaries of our programs, activities
and ministries, as well as links to a wide variety of fascinating
sites. We are constantly seeking to improve and update this
site, so we particularly welcome suggestions, corrections and
critiques.
